On October 13th and 31st my work Acanto marchito will be premiered and performed in London and Edinburgh. The work was commissioned by my friend and flautist Richard Craig to be part of a very interesting project (and a very original instrumental) that also involves several composers I admire. It will be performed at Brunel University London on October 13 and at the University of Edinburgh, Reid Concert Hall, on October 31.
The work is for bass flute, guitar, theorbo and cello and the musicians involved in the project are:
Richard Craig, flute
Sam Cave, guitar
Louise McMonagle, cello
Johan Lofving, theorbo
